Separation of contents from metal and alu cans

By fitting a drain to the RUNI Screw Compactor, liquids from cans made of aluminium, tin or steel can be pressed out through a matrix which has to be adapted to the specific product and purpose.
This may be destruction of returned goods and reject production from breweries, the food sector or other industries, but it could also include separation of the contents from full and half-empty metal cans and containers in environment and waste enterprises.
After separation and compacting the cans can be sold for recycling with lower transport costs, as transport space is better exploited. In some cases the separated contents can be sold, for example for energy production.
ALU cans
Aluminium cans for beer, soft drinks and other drinks can be drained and compacted using:
- SK240 ALU, which compacts up to 5,000 33 cl. ALU cans per hour
- SK370 PET/ALU, which has been designed with two feed hoppers for PET bottles and ALU cans respectively
Cans and pots made of tin or steel
Metal cans and containers can be emptied and compacted using:
- SK370 STEEL/TIN, which compacts up to 3,000 3 litre cans per hour. Maximum diameter 233 mm, corresponding to a 10 litre can
- SK370 Cans/drums 600 mm, which can compact large containers with a diameter of up to 600 mm
