PUR Compacting - Polyurethan
PUR is used for insulation materials for walls and panels, especially for household appliances and in the automotive industry.
PUR is significantly drier than EPS. The RUNI Screw Compactor can crush and compact PUR into a cylinder, but it is too dusty and fragile to make a cohesive block. Therefore we compact PUR directly into endless plastic bags.
Whole plates and pieces are fed directly into the hopper and crushed in a pre-crusher before compacting.
Dust from PUR production can be collected via a vacuum system and then blown to the compactor via a silo system with a cell lock.
